I recently stayed at Tio Sea Resort in Al Khor, Qatar, and had a mixed experience. The resort's location is beautiful, with a private beach on the Arabian Gulf providing a serene and picturesque backdrop.
The room conditions were average, and there were a few missing amenities that were only refurbished on the 3rd or 4th day of my stay. This was a bit disappointing, but the staff were responsive once the issue was brought to their attention. For future guests, I recommend relying on the front office for any missing amenities, as their response is really fast and efficient.
On the positive side, the common areas such as the garden and swimming pool were well-maintained and featured a nice architectural layout. Unfortunately, the weather was very cold and windy during my stay, so I had no opportunity to enjoy the pleasant swimming pool and private beach area.
However, the food variety was limited. While the meals at the Blue Brasserie Restaurant were delicious, I found the options to be somewhat lacking in variety. The Al Buhayra restaurant by the pool was a nice spot for a relaxing meal or drink, but again, the menu could benefit from more diverse offerings.
Overall, my stay at Tio Sea Resort had its ups and downs. The beautiful surroundings and excellent service in the common areas were highlights, but the room conditions and limited food variety left room for improvement. I would recommend this resort for its location and amenities, but with the hope that they address the issues mentioned.
